Questions for Auckland Transport on Paper Roads

 

Member C Keenan entered the meeting at 12.47 pm.

Raewyn Sendles, Principal Specialist Natural Heritage, and Jenny Fuller, Team Leader Natural Heritage Policy, provided a PowerPoint presentation.  A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.

Proposed Bylaws – Animal Management & Outdoor Fire Safety

 

Member R Gardner retired from the meeting at 1.52 pm.

 

Emma Pilkington, Policy Analyst, Paul Wilson, Team Leader Policies and Bylaws, and Bryan Cartelle and Thomas Harre, Principal Rural Fire Officers, provided a PowerPoint presentation.  A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.

Stormwater – Link between Manukau Harbour Consolidated Receiving Environment (Stormwater Discharge Consent) and  National Policy Statement for Freshwater Management (NPSFM)

 

Gael Ogilvie, Manager Environmental Services, tabled a document in support of this item. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.

 

Secretarial Note:         The Panel expressed concern over the proposed stormwater bylaw and its possible implications to rural areas and the closing date of submissions, and requested council staff follow up on their concerns as soon as possible.

Subsequent to the meeting, council staff confirmed there was no possibility of an extension to the bylaw submissions timeframes.
