That the Pacific Peoples Advisory Panel:

a)         accept the apology from Member Councillor Anae Arthur Anae, Deputy Chair Sefita Hao’uli, and Members Rev Tevita Finau and Richard Pamatatau for absence.

That the Pacific Peoples Advisory Panel:

a)         confirm the ordinary minutes of its meeting, held on Wednesday, 30 September 2015, including the confidential section, as a true and correct record.

There was no extraordinary business.

 

Secretarial note:          With the approval of the panel item 6 was considered prior to item 5.

Member Sam Sefuiva declared an interest in this item.

That the Pacific Peoples Advisory Panel:

a)      receive the report and presentation.

b)      thank Maree Mills Principal Policy Analyst for her attendance.

c)      agree that the Arts and Culture Panel nominate a member as a representative on          the Implementation Leadership Group.

Work programme update

MOVED by Member A Manoa, seconded by Member O Manuel-Barbarich:  

That the Pacific Peoples Advisory Panel:

a)      receive the Pacific Peoples Advisory Panel work programme – November 2015.

b)      receive the Pacific Peoples Advisory Panel Schedule of Feedback and Advice – November 2015.

c)      arrange an opportunity to engage with the Independent Maori Statutory Board in 2016 if practicable.

d)      meet with Pacific elected members of Auckland Council.

e)      agree that the December 2015 meeting does not go ahead.
