a)        consider an extraordinary item regarding Auckland Transportís recent advertisement at item 13.1 of the agenda:

i)          the reason the matter was not on the agenda is because the matter was raised after the agenda had been sent to members, and

ii)         the reason why the discussion of this matter cannot be delayed until a subsequent meeting is that this meeting is the final meeting of the current political term.†

Rainbow communities engagement guidelines update

That the Rainbow Communities Advisory Panel:

a)††††† confirm that the Engagement Guidelines: Section 6: Engaging with Aucklandís diverse communities: Rainbow Communities and the Rainbow Communities Engagement Guidelines align with the Panel feedback provided to the Engagement and Consultation team on 24 May 2016.

b)††††† provide any additional feedback to be incorporated in the next iteration of the Engagement Guidelines.

c)††††† agree to send the Rainbow Communities Advisory Panelís story including the Engagement Guidelines: Section 6: Engaging with Aucklandís diverse communities: Rainbow Communities and the Rainbow Communities Engagement Guidelines to the editor of the Local Government New Zealand magazine.

a)        receive the verbal updates from the community summit, 30-year homosexual law reform celebration and Human Rights Act 1993 amendment strategy sub-committees.

b)        thank Ateesh Patel, Auckland Council events team for helping organise the 30-year homosexual law reform celebration.
