MOVED by Mr M Kingsford, seconded by Mr A Parkinson:  

That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board:

a)         accept the apologies from Members Amy Malcolm, Dane Grey, Nigel Murphy, Patrick Reynolds for absence and Mayor Phil Goff for absence on council business.

CARRIED

Note:   An apology was subesqently received from Cr M Lee for absence.

3          Confirmation of Minutes

That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board:

a)         confirm the ordinary minutes of its meeting, held on Wednesday, 22 August 2018, as a true and correct record.

Update on the process for reviewing the city centre targeted rate TR7 portfolio

 

Staff were present in support of the report.

a)      receive the update on the city centre targeted rate portfolio (TR7) and the process for the TR7 portfolio review.

Regional Facilities Auckland overview and update

a)      receive the overview and update from Regional Facilities Auckland.

Road safety in the city centre

 

A PowerPoint presentation was provided in support of the item. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.

MOVED by Mr M Richardson, seconded by Mr A Parkinson:  

That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board:

a)      receive the update on Auckland’s road safety crisis

b)      support in principle Auckland Transport’s programme to reduce the high rates of death and serious injury in the city centre and note the programme is subject to consultation.

City centre update for the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board – September 2018

 

A copy of the draft response to homelessness has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.

That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board:

a)         receive the update on city centre projects and initiatives to 10 September 2018.

b)        circulate the homelessness draft response for agreement from board members.

Auckland City Centre Advisory Board forward work programme - September 2018

 

Resolution number CEN/2018/57

MOVED by Chairperson V Beck, seconded by Cr C Darby:  

That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board:

a)         receive the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board 2018 forward work programme, as per Attachment A of the agenda report

b)        update the forward work programme to provide for the holistic planning for the Waterfront.
