MOVED by Member M Cohen, seconded by Member J McKenzie:   

That the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board:

a)      approve the Sunnynook Plan as set out in Attachment A of the agenda report.

b)      thank representatives from the Sunnynook Community Association on the working party for their valuable input.

c)      acknowledge the Council planning staff and the Kaipātiki Local Board on their contributions and collaborative approach to the development of the Sunnynook Plan. 

d)      delegate to officers and chairs, the ability to make minor amendments to the Sunnynook Plan, including finalisation of layout and design before final publication.

Windsor Reserve Play Space

 

Tristan Coulson, Senior Local Board Advisor, was in attendance to address the board in support in this item.

 

 

Resolution number DT/2018/155

MOVED by Member M Sheehy, seconded by Member J McKenzie:  

That the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board:

a)         approve the concept design proposal dated November 2017, for the renewal of the play space at Windsor Reserve, Devonport.

 

b)        request staff progress the Windsor Reserve Play Space project through to construction.

 

c)         delegate responsibility to Chairperson G Wood and Member M Cohen to finalise particular aspects of the final design of Windsor Reserve Play Space, namely:

 

             i.       the inclusion of the power box located to the North of the toilet block as part of the renewal

 

            ii.       ensuring that the location of the climbing rope does not impact the site lines from the Devonport Library.

Local Board Services monthly report - September 2018

 

Tristan Coulson, Senior Local Board Advisor, was in attendance to address the board in support of this item.

 

 

Resolution number DT/2018/156

MOVED by Chairperson G Wood, seconded by Deputy Chairperson G Gillon:  

That the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board:

a)      recommend the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson be appointed the Panuku Unlock Takapuna working group.

b)      note that all local board members will continue to provide input, views and preferences into the next phases of the Panuku Unlock Takapuna project through meetings organised by Local Board Services staff.

c)      allocate up to $7,500 locally driven initiatives (LDI) operational funding from the Community Grants budget towards independent planning advice to support the local board on the Panuku Unlock Takapuna project.

d)      delegate responsibility of preparing the brief for the independent planning advice to the Local Board Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Member J O’Connor and any other interested board member with the support from the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board Senior Local Board Advisor.

e)      confirm its feedback on council’s Dog Management Bylaw and Policy review as outlined in Attachment A to this report.

f)          note the memo on the future use of 3 Victoria Road, Devonport as outlined in Attachment B to this report, and request that the following issues be canvased as part of the 2 October 2018 workshop:

 

                      i.        how the property was transferred from a service to a non-service portfolio

 

                    ii.        the status of any budget associated with the earthquake strengthening of the building itself.

New Road Name for Subdivision at 100 Shakespeare Road, Milford

That the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board:

a)      approve the road name Macbeth Court for the private road constructed for the subdivision and unit development being undertaken by Sunyu Development Limited, at 100 Shakespeare Road, Milford in accordance with section 319(1)(j) of the Local Government Act 1974.
