That the Henderson-Massey Local Board Swimming Pool Fencing Exemptions Committee:

Agrees to adjourned the meeting at 10.07 am for site visit.

Applications for special exemption in accordance with section 6 of the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act 1987 (FOSPA)

 

Resolution number HMSP/2014/2

MOVED by Member SP Henderson, seconded by Member MFP Chan:  

That the Henderson-Massey Local Board Swimming Pool Fencing Exemptions Committee:

a)      Receives the applications by:

i)       Dianne Morris, 165 Colwill Rd, Massey (attachment A)

ii)      Andrea and Chris Cuthbertson, 20 Vintage Drv, Henderson (attachment B)

 

 

b)            Grants the application from Dianne Morris, 165 Colwill Rd, Massey for special exemption from the requirements of the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act 1987, subject to the condition that one leaf of the doors is fixed and a self closing and self latching device is fitted in accordance with NZS8500-2006 to the other door leaf and compliance with the standard is maintained at all times.

c)            Grants the application from Andrea and Chris Cuthbertson, 20 Vintage Drive, Henderson for special exemption from the requirements of the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act 1987, subject to the condition that the spa is moved 900mm away from the nib wall and that in all other aspects compliance with NZS8500-2006 is maintained at all times.
