Historic Heritage Action Plan

 

 

 

A copy of the presentation has been placed on the official copy of these minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website.

That the Heritage Advisory Panel:

 

a)         request officers report back to the Panel by May 2014 on the local board views on the Historic Heritage Actions

b)         provide comment regarding priorities of the Historic Heritage Actions directly             to the officers who will collate and report back to the next meeting

c)         thank Elizabeth Pishief, Principal Specialist Cultural Heritage for her attendance and presentation.

Heritage Festival Ideas on themes for 2014 and links to WW1 commemorations

 

 

 

Noel Reardon, Manager Heritage, discussed the festival ideas on themes for 2014 and asked panel members to provide feedback on how this can be linked to the World War 1 commemorations.

That the Heritage Advisory Panel:

a)         recommend a general theme of WW1 Commemoration and a specific theme relating on the 100th anniversary of the establishment of a constitutional relationship with NZ and Samoa.

Heritage Advisory Panel Future Work Program

 

 

 

Noel Reardon, Manager Heritage discussed the Future Work Program with the panel members.

That the Heritage Advisory Panel:

 

a)         agree to provide heritage priorities in writing to enable these to be collated into a report attached to the minutes of this meeting which will be forwarded to Cr Penny Hulse’s Auckland Development Committee meeting and also to Dr Roger Blakeley, Chief Planning Officer.
