Supporter Programme in the Whau area, particularly in New Lynn will be
considered through the Annual Plan hearing process.

urgency is that the Annual Plan hearing for Whau
Local Board is scheduled for Tuesday 25 March 2014 which
is before the next Whau Local Board meeting in April.

a) Agrees that the matter of hearing dates for the Whau Local Board
hearings for the Annual Plan 2014/2015 be considered under item 21.1.

concept of striking a Whau-wide targeted rate for funding:

maintenance of existing publically accessible swimming pools and

to support the design and building of new swimming pools in the Whau
Ward.

New community lease to Tag Out Trust, 6 Olympic Place, New Lynn

That the Whau
Local Board approves:
a) The surrender
of Tag Out Trust community lease dated 11 June 2002.
b) The granting
of a new community lease under Section 73 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977 to Tag
Out Trust for part of Olympic Park, 6 Olympic Place, New Lynn (Attachment A)
subject to the following terms and conditions:
i) Term – 10
years commencing from the date of approval by the Minister of Conservation or
their delegate with one 10-year right of renewal;
ii) Rent - $1.00
plus GST per annum if requested;
iii) The public
notification of the new community lease and that it will meet the costs
associated with the public notification, estimated at approximately $500.00;
iv) Council staff
will consider and initiate if required a process to reclassify the footprint
of the New Lynn Station Master’s House from recreation reserve to local
purpose (community buildings) reserve in accordance with the Reserves Act
1977;
v) Tag Out Trust
Community Outcomes Plan as approved be attached to the community lease
document (Attachment B)
c) All other terms and conditions in accordance with the Auckland
Council Community Occupancy Guidelines July 2012.

New community licence to occupy to Western Suburbs Radio Club

That the Whau Local Board:
a) Approves
granting a community licence to occupy under Section 48A (1) of the Reserves
Act 1977 to Western Suburbs Radio Club Incorporated for part of Whau Bridge
Reserve, being Lot 25 on Deposited Plan 21323 NZ498/274, 3000 Great North
Road, New Lynn (Attachment A) subject to the following terms and conditions:
i) Term – ten
years commencing 19 March 2014 with one ten-year right of renewal;
ii) Rent - $1.00
plus GST per annum if requested;
iii) Western
Suburbs Radio Club Incorporated Community Outcomes Plan as approved be
attached to the licence document (Attachment B);
b) Approves all other terms and conditions in accordance with the
Auckland Council Community Occupancy Guidelines July 2012.

the view of the Local Board.

b) Appoints member Susan Zhu as lead local
board representative to the Urban
Design Champion Forum.

March 2014 at 9:30 am.
b)
Approves that the Whau Local Board Annual Plan
deliberations take place on Wednesday 9 April 2014 at 9.30 am at the Whau
Local Board office, 31 Totara Avenue New Lynn.
c)
Approves that the Whau Local Board adopts its
Local Board Agreement at a meeting held on Wednesday, 18 June 2014 at 6.30 pm
at 31 Totara Avenue New Lynn.
