That the
Waitākere Ranges Local Board Swimming Pool Fencing Exemptions Committee:
b)
Grants the application from Nubra
Trustee Company Ltd, 757B West Coast Road, Oratia for special exemption from
the requirements of the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act 1987, subject to the
condition that the trellis beside the spa pool is covered with shade cloth
and that on-going compliance with NZS8500-2006 is maintained at all times.
The committee noted
at the time of inspection that there has previously been a fence to prevent
people from falling from the deck next to the spa pool. Committee recommends
that the fence be reinstated.

c) Declines
the application from HDM and RH Lawry, 922 West Coast Road, Oratia for
special exemption from the requirements of the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act
1987, because it is the Committees opinion
that in granting the exemption the danger to young children is
significantly increased.

because it is the Committees opinion that in granting the
exemption the danger to young children is

requirements of the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act 1987, subject to the
