Resolution number ENV/2014/29 MOVED by Chairperson WD Walker, seconded by Cr ME Lee: That the Environment, Climate Change and Natural Heritage Committee: a) thank Will ‘Ilolahia regarding ‘Earthship Biotechture’ – passive solar, off-the-grid and sustainable housing. b) support the ‘Earthship Biotechture’ concept and forward the presentation to relevant Council committees and departments (e.g Housing Project Office), Local Boards and Independent Maori Statutory Board for their consideration. |

Resolution number ENV/2014/31 MOVED by Chairperson WD Walker, seconded by Deputy Mayor PA Hulse: That the Environment, Climate Change and Natural Heritage Committee: a) recommend that the Regional Strategy and Policy Committee approve the draft Auckland Kauri Dieback Management Strategy.

Resolution number ENV/2014/32 b) request the Biosecurity and Regional and Specialist Parks to develop a fully-costed suite of options for the management of Kauri Dieback across the Auckland region which will be considered through the Long-term Plan process.
