Glendene Community Hub operational model

 

Resolution number HM/2014/158

MOVED by Member WW Flaunty, seconded by Member BA Brady:  

That the Henderson-Massey Local Board:

a)      Resolves that the Glendene Community Hub at 82 Hepburn Rd Glendene is governed and managed by a charitable trust or incorporated society to deliver community initiatives, activities and programmes based on community relevance and need within Glendene.

b)      Resolves that a funding agreement be negotiated with the Glendene Community Society once incorporated to 30 June 2015 with a term grant for $37,429.00 to establish an operational plan that delivers relevant activities, initiatives and programmes from the Glendene Community Hub at 82 Hepburn Rd Glendene that meet needs of its community.

West Harbour Community Hub operational model

MOVED by Member BA Brady, seconded by Member MFP Chan:  

That the Henderson-Massey Local Board resolves:

a)      Resolves that West Harbour Community Hub at 74 Oriel Avenue West Harbour is governed and managed by a charitable trust or incorporated society to deliver community initiatives, activities and programmes based on community relevance and need within West Harbour.

b)      Resolves that a funding agreement be negotiated with Massey Matters Incorporated to 30 June 2015 with a term grant for $37,429.00 to establish an operational plan that delivers relevant activities, initiatives and programmes from the West Harbour Community Hub at 74 Oriel Avenue, West Harbour that meet needs of its community.

Draft Community Grants Policy

 

Resolution number HM/2014/161

MOVED by Chairperson VS Neeson, seconded by Member TJ Kirkley:  

That the Henderson-Massey Local Board:

a)    Endorses the Community Grants Policy as a regional framework for the Auckland Council community grants programme, noting that the local board will be supported to develop an individual schedule to the policy that sets out the specific outcomes, priorities and structure of their local grants programme.

b)    Delegates feedback on the draft community grants policy to the chair and the community development portfolio holders and the environmental portfolio holder.

17        Procedural motion to exclude the public

Resolution number HM/2014/162

MOVED by Chairperson VS Neeson, seconded by Member WW Flaunty:  

That the Henderson-Massey Local Board:

a)         Excludes the public from the following part(s) of the proceedings of this meeting.

b)        Agrees that Sophie Bell, Principal Policy Analyst be permitted to remain for Confidential Item  after the public has been excluded, because of their knowledge of the subject matter (Acquisition of Land for Reserve purpose, Massey), which will help the Henderson-Massey Local Board in its decision-making.

 

The general subject of each matter to be considered while the public is excluded, the reason for passing this resolution in relation to each matter, and the specific grounds under section 48(1) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 for the passing of this resolution follows.

This resolution is made in reliance on section 48(1)(a) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 and the particular interest or interests protected by section 6 or section 7 of that Act which would be prejudiced by the holding of the whole or relevant part of the proceedings of the meeting in public, as follows:
