            The chairperson opened the meeting and welcomed those present.

That the Local Board Plan Hearings - Whau Local Board:

a) Accepts an apology from member Susan Zhu for absence.

3          Declaration of Interest

Members were reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

There were no declarations of interest.

	Secretarial Note:         Supporting information received via email for submission number 7756 and 7916 (Tricia Cheel) was tabled at the meeting, a copy of which has been placed on the file copy of the minutes and can be viewed at the Auckland Council website.

	Member SPT Matafai left the meeting at 10.55am after hearing submission 7720. Member SPT Matafai returned to the meeting at 3.30pm from submission 6289.
	The meeting adjourned for lunch at 12.44pm and reconvened at 1.18pm The meeting adjourned for afternoon tea at 4.00pm and reconvened at 4.29pm
