1 Welcome/Prayer
The Chairperson opened the meeting and welcomed the public.

Resolution number HM/2014/164 MOVED by Chairperson VS Neeson, seconded by Member WW Flaunty: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board: a) Agrees to adjourn the meeting until 7.00 pm, 2 October 2014 in the Council Chamber 6 Henderson Valley Road, Henderson. The meeting adjourned at 6.37 pm and reconvened at 7.00 pm.
Member Will Flavell was not present when the meeting reconvened. |

Auckland Transport Update Report – Henderson-Massey Local Board |

Resolution number HM/2014/170 MOVED by Deputy Chairperson SP Henderson, seconded by Member WI Flavell: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board: a) Receives Auckland Transport Update Report - Henderson-Massey Local Board. b) Defers its decisions on the Anti-Graffiti Film applications for bus shelters until the cost of the Waitemata Drive Pedestrian bridge is known. c) Requests officers include a column entitled “Cost Breakdown and Status” in future local board transport fund application reports. |

Resolution number HM/2014/171 MOVED by Member WI Flavell, seconded by Member BA Brady: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board: a) Approves the following road names at Westgate Metropolitan Centre using the map attached to these minutes Road A – Tawhia Drive Road B1 – Kōhūhū Lane Road B2 – Rotu Drive Road C – Te Oranui Way Road D – Gunton Drive Road E – Maki Drive Road F – Raupō Drive Road G – Barbour Road Road H – Kawariki Avenue Road I – Akeake Road b) Requests staff use “Kopupaka” as the name of a significant park in the Westgate area. c) Expresses its frustration with the circuitous process of naming the roads at Westgate which has resulted in an eleventh hour decision after 3 years of requests by the local board the last ones being the 18th of March 2014 and the 10th of June 2014 at a presentation by staff of the City Transformation Unit. d) Thanks and acknowledges local iwi, Ngāti Whatua o Kaipara and Te Kawerau a Maki for their input. e) Thanks and appreciates the work of NZRPG in this process. |
