Monitoring Research Quarterly Report

 

Resolution number MHFJC/2014/19

MOVED by Member AJ Naysmith, seconded by Member S Toms:  

a)        That the Manukau Harbour Forum receives the Monitoring Research Quarterly report and Manukau Harbour state of the environment report for October 2014.

b)        That the Manukau Harbour Forum requests the Governing Body ensure sufficient funding is included in the 2015-2025 Long-term plan for the hydro-dynamic modelling of the Manukau Harbour.

Update on allocation of budgets by member Boards

 

Resolution number MHFJC/2014/20

MOVED by Member MP Wood, seconded by Member BM Graham:  

a)        That the Manukau Harbour Forum receives the update on allocation of budgets by the nine member Boards.

b)        That in light of the reduced funding available for the work programme from the nine member boards the Manukau Harbour Forum agree to reprioritise the work programme as follows:

i)       Communications Plan                                                          $35,000

ii)     Research Hui                                                                         $10,000

iii)    Flagship sites                                                                        $18,500

c)        That the Manukau Harbour Forum notes there is a possible contingency fund which could top up the flagship sites project to ensure that four sites were continued in this financial year.

d)        That the Manukau Harbour Forum prioritise the flagship sites via electronic survey to enable the staff to progress the project as soon as possible, with the Chair of the Forum having delegation to finalise the outcome of the survey with staff.

That the Manukau Harbour Forum receives the notes from the hui with Mana Whenua held on Monday, 8 September 2014, with an amendment to include the apology from Member Carrol Elliott.
