acquisition of Te Whetumatarau Headland, Matiatia. A document was tabled and
a presentation was given in support of the item.

That the Waiheke Local Board:
a) Considers Item 19:
Waiheke Local Board's Submission on the government’s (Ministry of Business
Innovation and Employment, New Zealand Petroleum and Minerals) 2015 Block
Offer process as extraordinary business.
b) Notes the reason for the extraordinary business is that
the Board’s approval of its submission is required before the Regional Strategy and Policy Committee considers Council’s submission on 5 February 2015
for which is before the next Board meeting.

board agreement through “spoken interaction/NZ sign language interaction” at
the “Have Your Say” events to any staff approved by the Chair.

That the Waiheke Local Board:
a) Approves the Waiheke Local Board submission on the 2015 Block
Offer for Petroleum Exploration Permits.
b) Requests that the submission be forwarded to appropriate staff for
inclusion with the Auckland Council submission to the Ministry of Business,
Innovation and Employment.
