Members are reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

3 Confirmation of Minutes

Advice on voting and candidates for the 2016 local government elections |

Resolution number SEN/2015/7 MOVED by Member RJ Northey, seconded by Member J Clews: That the Seniors Advisory Panel: a) advise on ways to engage a diverse range of people to stand as candidates and to vote. b) endorse council activity pursuing this issue emphasising: i) salience ii) confidence to stand and to vote iii) effective communication about voting iv) making voting as easy as possible including pursuing the introduction of on-line voting in Auckland. |
