That the Kaipātiki Local Board Community Forum:

a)         confirms the ordinary minutes of its meeting, held on Wednesday, 22 April 2015, including the confidential section, as a true and correct record.

7.1

Petition from Elaine Brewitt and Ian Squire

 

Elaine Brewitt and Ian Squire were in attendance to present a petition containing 1018 signatures on paper regarding:

“Proposed Concept Plan for Highbury Corner Birkenhead

I have viewed the proposed changes to the entrance of Highbury Corner to remove the ten trees and the Norfolk Pines as these trees are established and the Palms accent our Art Deco Corner I feel strongly that these should not be removed”

A copy of the petition was provided. A copy has been placed on the official minutes.

That the Kaipātiki Local Board:

a)           receives the petition from Elaine Brewitt and Ian Squire.

b)           notes that they will speak to the petition as part of item 8.

That the Kaipātiki Local Board:

a)      receives the deputation from Dale Smith of the Kaipātiki Local Youth Board, regarding the work of the Youth Board.

b)      thanks Dale Smith and the Kaipātiki Local Youth Board for their attendance and presentation.

c)      thanks Tim Matthews for his work with the Youth Advisory Panel.
