a) confirm the ordinary minutes of its meeting, held on Friday, 6 March 2015, as a true and correct record.

The following items were requested to be considered under Item 9 General Business:

· Chris Keenan – requested consideration of a document on water priority raised at the March 2015 meeting.

5	Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan (PAUP) interim guidance delivery
	Bain Cross, Principal Planner Unitary Plan, and Fiona Curran-Cournane, Scientist, presented to the panel. PowerPoint presentations were provided. Copies have been placed on the official minutes and are available on the Auckland Council website as minutes attachments.
	Member C Keenan left the meeting at 1.45 pm.
	Resolution number RUR/2015/5 MOVED by Deputy Chairperson AQ Cole, seconded by Member A McKenzie: That the Rural Advisory Panel: a) thank Bain Cross and Fiona Curran-Cournane for the presentation on the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan (PAUP) interim guidance delivery. b) receive the Unitary Plan Work Programme Update presentation. 6	Equestrian Issues
	Astrid Lambert, Equine Industry and Chair of the Puhunui Trust, Manoj Ragupathy and Martin Devoy, Auckland Council, and Andy Higgs and Simon Wilson, ATEED, presented to the panel. A PowerPoint presentation was provided. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.
	Member C Keenan returned to the meeting at 1.52 pm.

Brett Butland, Biosecurity Manager, gave an verbal update on Project Hunua.

Brett Butland, Biosecurity Manager, gave a verbal presentation on the implementation of the Weed Management Policy.

Consideration of document on water priority

It was decided a meeting between Chairperson Cashmore, Chris Keenan, Keith Vallabh and representatives from Watercare will be organised to progress this matter.
