That the Albert-Eden Local Board Dog
Access Review Panel:
a) adopts
the decision report titled ‘Hearing panel decision report on local dog access
rules in the Albert-Eden Local Board area 2015’.
b) adopts
the amendments to the Auckland Council Policy on Dogs 2012 as contained in
hearing panel decision report in (a) pursuant to section 10 of the Dog
Control Act 1996 with a commencement date of 01 January 2016.
c) requests
the governing body to give effect to the amendments in (b) by making the
necessary amendments to the Auckland Council Policy on Dogs 2012 pursuant to
section 10 of the Dog Control Act 1996 and Auckland Council Dog Management
Bylaw 2012 in accordance with section 10(6) of the Dog Control Act 1996.
d) authorises
the Manager Social Policy and Bylaws in consultation with the chair of the
local board hearing panel to make any minor edits to (a) and (b) to correct
any identified errors or typographical edits.
e) thanks the community and
the submitters for their submissions.
