1          Welcome/Prayer

 

The Chairperson welcomed those present and led the meeting in payer.

That the Henderson-Massey Local Board:

a)         accept the apology from member Tracy Kirkley for early departure.

3          Declaration of Interest

            Members are reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

Specifically members are asked to identify any new interests they have not previously disclosed, an interest that might be considered as a conflict of interest with a matter on the agenda.

a)         Receives the presentation from the Henderson South Group.

b)         Requests that Auckland Transport staff work with the Henderson South community Group to investigate pedestrian safety improvements on Henderson Valley Road near Garelja Road.

c)         Requests Parks staff work with the Henderson South Community group to investigate improvements to Tabitha Reserve and Murillo Park.

d)         Requests Parks staff work with the Henderson South Community group to investigate a community garden in Taranui street.
