Manurewa Youth Council Update

 

Kieran Henderson (Chairperson), Matthew Ward (Deputy Chairperson), Kharishma Narsai (Treasurer) and Sarah Colcord (Events portfolio holder), of the Manurewa Youth Council spoke to:

i)          the accountability report for the period 1 July to 31 December 2015 and

ii)         the proposed forward work programme for the period 1 January to 30 June 2016. 

iii)        the budget for the period 1 July to 31 December 2015.

b)            request a letter be written to Cr Filipaina and Cr Penrose following up on the 24 November 2015 confidential Unitary Plan meeting regarding zoning.

Review of the Food Safety Bylaw 2013

a)      endorse the proposal to retain the grading provision of the Auckland Council Food Safety Bylaw 2013 and require the display of food safety grade certificates.

Reprioritisation of Manurewa Local Board 2015/2016 budget

 

A letter was tabled from Neville Green, Mentor/Trustee, Auckland Teaching Gardens Trust requesting assistance for a garden shelter for the Maich Road Teaching Garden. A copy of this document can be viewed on the Auckland Council website.

c)      agree that the Chair be delegated the authority to make any final minor changes to local consultation content for the Annual Plan 2016/2017 prior to publication, including online consultation content.  

d)      agree to the “Have your say event” for the draft 2016/2017 Annual Plan to be held on Saturday, 5 March 2016, 12noon to 2pm at the Manurewa Local Board Office meeting room, Shop 3-5, 7 Hill Road, Manurewa.
