Resolution number MR/2015/219 MOVED by Chairperson AM Dalton, seconded by Member AL Cunningham-Marino: That the Manurewa Local Board: a) confirm the ordinary minutes of its meeting, held on Thursday, 19 November 2015, including the confidential section, as a true and correct record subject to the following change to the confirmation of minutes item: Secretarial Note: The Chairperson was not present at the 8 October 2015 Local Board meeting and therefore could not move that the minutes were true and correct. Kieran Henderson (Chairperson), Matthew Ward (Deputy Chairperson), Kharishma Narsai (Treasurer) and Sarah Colcord (Events portfolio holder), of the Manurewa Youth Council spoke to: i) the accountability report for the period 1 July to 31 December 2015 and ii) the proposed forward work programme for the period 1 January to 30 June 2016. iii) the budget for the period 1 July to 31 December 2015. A copy of the budget document can be viewed on the Auckland Council website. |

Resolution number MR/2015/220 MOVED by Chairperson AM Dalton, seconded by Member KE Penney: That the Manurewa Local Board: a) receive the verbal report from the Manurewa Youth Council regarding: i) Manurewa Youth Council accountability report for the period 1 July – 31 December 2015 ii) Santa Parade 2015 iii) Tall Poppies iv) YouthFest – feedback page available online – advertising campaign was good v) Youth Council AGM vi) Youth Council quorum change vii) Increased Youth Council members to 20 viii) Acknowledged the leaving members
b) approve the allocation of the second part payment to the Manurewa Youth Council for the 2015/2016 financial year of $11,000, to enable their work plan to be delivered for the period 1 January – 30 June 2016. |

Resolution number MR/2015/233 MOVED by Chairperson AM Dalton, seconded by Member GW Hawkins: That the Manurewa Local Board: g) note that it has locally driven initiatives (LDI) capital expenditure (capex) funding of $1,651,105 to be allocated before 30 June 2018, and i) confirms the allocation of $800,000 to complete the Riverton Reserve pavilion project, and ii) defers a decision on the remaining $851,105 to a future date. Resolution number MR/2015/235 MOVED by Chairperson AM Dalton, seconded by Member KE Penney: That the Manurewa Local Board: a) agree the indicative locally driven initiatives (LDI) priorities for 2016/2017 (Attachment A to the report entitled “Annual Plan 2016/2017 – local consultation content”) b) adopt the local content for consultation (Attachment B to the report entitled “Annual Plan 2016/2017 – local consultation content”) c) agree that the Chair be delegated the authority to make any final minor changes to local consultation content for the Annual Plan 2016/2017 prior to publication, including online consultation content. d) agree to the “Have your say event” for the draft 2016/2017 Annual Plan to be held on Saturday, 5 March 2016, 12noon to 2pm at the Manurewa Local Board Office meeting room, Shop 3-5, 7 Hill Road, Manurewa. |
