receive the update on the partnership with Auckland Council,
AUT University, the Federation of the Multicultural Council, Hui E and
Migrant Action Trust, Ethnic Engagement Summit Work Programme from members’ Y
Lee and M Msopero
b)
request an update from staff involved in the Diversity and
Inclusion initiative regarding Auckland Council’s approach to work force and
diverse communities.
c)
receive the presentation on the Empowerment Communities Unit update
d)
note the Te Tiriti o Waitangi/Treaty of
Waitangi discussion has been deferred to the next meeting.

c) approve the allocation of
$5,000 from the Ethnic Peoples Advisory Panel’s community summit budget to
the Ethnic Engagement Summit.
