Resolution number RAI/2016/7 MOVED by Member M Fisher, seconded by Member D Matthews: That the Rainbow Communities Advisory Panel: a) receive the presentation from Mike George, Auckland Council Communications Advisor, on the topic of engagement undertaken on the Rainbow Communities Advisory Panel stall at the Big Gay Out, 14 February 2016 b) thank Dave Hati for his contribution to the Rainbow Communities Advisory Panel Big Gay Out 2016 stall c) note the invitation from the Chair of the Community Safety and Development Committee to speak at an upcoming meeting on 30 March 2016 d) agree to form a sub-committee consisting of Member A Hutcheson, Member D Matthews, Member D Rands and Member A Wu, with Member D Matthews as lead coordinator, to collate the survey responses from the Big Gay Out and present to the Community Safety and Development Committee meeting on the homelessness action plan document e) agree to present to the Community Development and Safety Committee meeting on 3 August 2016, on LGBTI issues. |

Resolution number RAI/2016/9 MOVED by Member B Kilmister, seconded by Member D Rands: That the Rainbow Communities Advisory Panel: a) agree to form a sub-committee consisting on Member B Kilmister, Member J Radford-Poupard, Member D Rands and Member J Watson, with Member B Kilmister as lead coordinator, to liaise with Auckland Council staff on the opportunity of creating a 30-year anniversary celebratory event of the Homosexual Law Reform Act 1986. |

Resolution number RAI/2016/10 MOVED by Member A Hutcheson, seconded by Member D Matthews: That the Rainbow Communities Advisory Panel: a) receive the verbal update from members b) agree to invite the following community organisations to speak at an upcoming Rainbow Communities Panel Meeting: i) Pride ii) Proud to Play iii) GABA iv) OUTLine v) LGBTI cross-party working group c) agree to appoint a sub-committee consisting of Member B Kilmister, Member M Taueki-Ransom, Member D Matthews and Member A Wu, with Member A Wu as lead coordinator, to draft a proposal on the next community summit. |
