a)         accept the apologies from Member Michael Bailey for absence and from the Chairperson, Angela Dalton, for lateness.

b)         agree the following key advocacy matters for discussion with the governing body on 9 May 2016:

Initiative

Ensure that investment in hard and social infrastructure meets the demands of population growth and intensification

Invest in rail station platform improvements and public transport safety

Invest in Manurewa to create the town centre envisaged in the Auckland Plan

Fund hydrodynamic modelling of the Manukau Harbour

As one of the nine member boards of the Manukau Harbour Forum, the Manurewa Local Board continues to advocate for hydrodynamic modelling work for the harbour to carry on beyond the scoping study.
