Resolution number GBI/2016/118 MOVED by Chairperson IM Fordham, seconded by Member JJ Gilbert: That the Great Barrier Local Board: a) Note the monitoring and reporting requirements set out in the Local Government (Auckland Council) Act 2009 and the draft local board information proposed for the Auckland Council Annual Report 2015/2016. b) Receive the draft local board report to be included in the Auckland Council Annual Report 2015/2016. c) Approve the message from the chairperson, which provides the local board’s comments on local board matters in the Annual Report 2015/2016. d) Give authority to the chairperson and deputy chairperson to make typographical changes before submitting for final publication. e) Thank Jane Koch, lead financial advisor for her attendance and presentation on the Draft Annual Report 2015/2016 - Great Barrier Local Board report.

Resolution number GBI/2016/119 MOVED by Chairperson IM Fordham, seconded by Member CA Spence: That the Great Barrier Local Board: a) Approve the tabled feedback on the Hauraki Gulf Forum Governance review for consideration by the Forum at its 12 September 2016 meeting. b) Thank board member J Cleave for his work on the Forum and the feedback on the Hauraki Gulf Forum governance review. c) Forward a copy of the tabled feedback to the Waiheke Local Board, Chair Ngati Rehua Ngatiwai ki Aotea and Councillor Mike Lee, for their information.

Resolution number GBI/2016/120 MOVED by Chairperson IM Fordham, seconded by Member J Cleave: That the Great Barrier Local Board: a) Nominate Chairperson IM Fordham, Deputy Chairperson SP Daly, members J Cleave, JJ Gilbert and CA Spence to attend the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park Seminar – Do The Right Thing to be held on Tuesday 13 September 2016, 9am-4.30pm, at the Auckland Museum, on the basis that the conference programme is relevant to the local board and Environment Committee’s work programmes. b) Confirm that the conference attendance including travel and accommodation will be paid for in accordance with the current Auckland Council Elected Member Expense Policy from the Great Barrier Local Board professional development budget line. c) Request that Chairperson IM Fordham, Deputy Chairperson SP Daly, members J Cleave, JJ Gilbert and CA Spence report back to the board on their attendance and participation in the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park Seminar – Do The Right Thing.

Resolution number GBI/2016/121 MOVED by Chairperson IM Fordham, seconded by Member CA Spence: That the Great Barrier Local Board: a) Note the Auckland Transport Update - August 2016. b) Thank Auckland Transport for agreeing at the recent site meeting to further investigate options for retention of the existing Shoal Bay wharf recreational pontoon in its current location and seeks to be involved in these discussions.
