5	Updates from Youth Advisory Panel Members

6	Working Party and Sub-committee Updates
	Member S Yoon entered the meeting at 6.21 pm.
	Resolution number YOU/2016/40 MOVED by Chairperson F Apulu, seconded by Member S Yoon: That the Youth Advisory Panel: a)      thank the working party and sub-committee leads for their updates. b)      thank the working party and sub-committee members for their commitment over the term. c)      forward sub-committee and working party updates for the attention of respective local youth voice mechanisms. CARRIED

7	Youth Advisory Panel - Work Programme Update
	Resolution number YOU/2016/41 MOVED by Chairperson F Apulu, seconded by Member M Mafile'o: That the Youth Advisory Panel: a)      note the Youth Advisory Panel work programme update. CARRIED

8	Youth Advisory Panel - Self-review
	Member J Auva'a entered the meeting at 6.37 pm.
	The meeting adjourned at 6.40pm, and reconvened at 7.43pm.
	Note:   Changes to the original motion were incorporated with the agreement of the meeting.
	Resolution number YOU/2016/42 MOVED by Member L Chin, seconded by Member L Fifita: That the Youth Advisory Panel: a)      note the following key themes from the Youth Advisory Panel’s self-review: Learnings for the Youth Advisory Panel i) influence within the community and council ii) shared learning and development iii) building understanding of local government functions iv) community focus and collective youth voice v) equality of youth voices Outcomes for Auckland Council vi) meaningful youth engagement and youth development vii) diverse perspectives viii) increased awareness of local government functions ix) youth leadership and input into decision-making b)      note that staff will collate data from the self-review workshop that will inform the memo to the incoming mayor. c)      delegate authority to the chair and deputy chair of the Youth Advisory Panel to speak on behalf of the panel at the Governing Body meeting on Thursday 29 September 2016.          CARRIED
