Purpose

1. To report the decisions of the Papakura Local Board Dog Access Panel on proposed changes to local dog access rules in the Papakura Local Board area.

Executive summary

2. The Papakura Local Board Dog Access Panel met on Wednesday, 24 august 2016 to hear submitters and hold deliberations on the proposed changes to local board dog access rules in the Papakura Local Board area. The attached report and Schedule of Proposed Changes will be considered by the Auckland Council’s Governing Body at a meeting to be held on Thursday, 29 September 2016.

Recommendation/s

That the Papakura Local Board:

a) Received the report entitled “Hearing panel decision report on local dog access rules in the Papakura Local Board area 2016 and the Schedule of proposed changes to Auckland Council Policy on Dogs.”
