Members are reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

Chairperson W Cashmore updated the panel on the Auckland Transport Alignment Project and the City Rail Link.

10        General Business

 

            Hauraki Gulf Forum proposals – Trish Fordyce asked whether they should come through the panel before being approved. Chairperson W Cashmore noted that the proposals were still a work in progress.

 

            Balance Farm Awards – Andrew McKenzie noted that there was currently only one nomination for the Balance Farm Awards and he encouraged members to seek at least six more entrants in the next month.

 

            End of term acknowledgements – Chairperson W Cashmore thanked all members of the panel for their contribution during the term. Deputy Chairperson A Cole acknowledged the work done by the Chairperson and presented him with a gift from the panel. Member C Keenan acknowledged the work of Warren Maclennan, Lead Officer for the panel.

 

 

 

3.26pm                                               The Chairperson thanked Members for their attendance and attention to business and declared the meeting closed.
