Note: Before the meeting began the
Relationship Manager advised the locations of the emergency exists and
conveniences.
Secretarial Note: Lesley Jenkins, Relationship Manager, chaired the meeting
for items 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. From item 8 onwards, the elected
chairperson chaired the meeting. Jim Quinn, Chief of Strategy
administered the members’ declarations.

mover and seconder.

and Bays Local Board:
a) elect a chairperson for the 2016-2019 political term,
utilising System B of Schedule 7, Part 1, Clause 25 of the Local
Government Act 2002.

Member Holmes nominated Member
Parfitt for the chairperson role. Member Cooper seconded the

The chairperson called for nominations for the position of
deputy chairperson.
Member Holmes nominated Member
Fitzgerald for the deputy chairperson role. Member Bettany seconded the
nomination.

As there were no further
nominations the chairperson declared Member Fitzgerald as deputy chairperson of
the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board for the 2016-2019 political term.

a) confirm Wednesday, 16 November 2016 at 4.30pm as the date for its
first business meeting, noting the venue will be the Council Chamber, Orewa
Service Centre, 50 Centreway Road, Orewa.
