The Chair opened the meeting and welcomed committee members, invited guests and the public.
A minute silence in commemoration of the six year anniversary of the 2011 Christchurch earthquake was observed.
Cr R Clow entered the meeting at 10.32 am.
Cr D Quax entered the meeting at 10.33 am.

Resolution number CIV/2017/4 MOVED by Chairperson S Stewart, seconded by Deputy Chairperson J Watson: That the Civil Defence and Emergency Management Group Committee: a) endorse the draft Public Alerting Framework for Auckland for consultation with local boards and other appropriate parties; and b) note that the results of the consultation, either preliminary or in full, as well as advice on the next steps for public alerting in Auckland, will be brought to the 24 May 2017 Committee meeting. |
