Kaipātiki Public Arts Trust

 

David Innes, Chair and Helen Schamroth, Trustee of the Kaipatiki Public Arts Trust addressed the Kaipātiki Local Board regarding the work of the Kaipatiki Public Arts Trust in 2016 and their objectives for 2017.

A powerpoint presentation was provided. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.

MOVED by Member K McIntyre, seconded by Member P Gillon:  

That the Kaipātiki Local Board:

a)         receive the deputation from David Innes and Helen Schamroth of the Kaipātiki Public Arts Trust.

b)        thank David Innes, Helen Schamroth, and the Kaipātiki Public Arts Trust for their attendance and presentation.

Kaipatiki Project

 

Janet Cole and Anna Halliwell of the Kaipatiki Project were in attendance to address the Kaipātiki Local Board regarding their achievements over the last six months and their objectives for the upcoming year.

That the Kaipātiki Local Board:

a)         receive the deputation from Janet Cole and Anna Halliwell of the Kaipatiki Project.

b)        thank Janet Cole, Anna Halliwell and the Kaipatiki Project for their attendance and presentation.

Harbour sport

 

Toni-Maree Carnie and Justine Martin of Harbour Sport were in attendance to present an update what Harbour Sport has done in the Kaipatiki Local Board area over the last six months.

Dennis Worley was in attendance to address the Kaipātiki Local Board regarding climate change mitigation, bush restoration and park maintenance issues.

Fay Freeman of North Harbour Softball and Northcote Softball was in attendance to address the Kaipātiki Local Board regarding North Harbour Softball and the Northcote Softball Club and their contribution to the local community.

Denzil Whitcombe, Deputy Chair of the Kaipātiki Local Youth Board provided an update on the activities of the Kaipātiki Local Youth Board.
