Resolution number CEN/2017/13 MOVED by Member Stephen Greenfield, seconded by Member Viv Beck: That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board: a) accept the apologies from Deputy Chairperson John Coop, Mayor Phil Goff, Member Mark Kingsford and Councillor Mike Lee for absence.

2 Declaration of Interest
Members are reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

3 Confirmation of Minutes
Resolution number CEN/2017/14 MOVED by Member Amy Malcolm, seconded by Member Nigel Murphy: That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board: a) confirm the ordinary minutes of its meeting, held on Wednesday, 22 February 2017, including the confidential section, as a true and correct record. b) confirm the minutes of its extraordinary meeting held on Monday, 6 March 2017 as a true and correct record.

City Centre progress update for the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board - to 22 March 2017 |

Catherine Edmeades, Development Programmes Senior Lead provided a presentation in support of the report. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment. The following actions from the discussion were noted: · The board requested Graham Bodman, General Manager Arts, Community and Events attend its April meeting to provide a further update on shelter provision for the homeless in the city centre during the winter.

Peter Everett, Project Lead for the Hobson/Nelson Street upgrade, provided a presentation on options for the upgrade of the Nelson Street slip lane. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.

Resolution number CEN/2017/18 MOVED by Member Shale Chambers, seconded by Member Viv Beck: That the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board: a) thank Kate Healy for her service as chairperson of the Auckland City Centre Advisory Board from 23 September 2015 to 29 March 2017. b) note that an election for a new chairperson will take place at the board’s next meeting on 19 April 2017.
