Heritage review – Terms of Reference for the review of the cultural heritage sector |

Member Bill Rayner wished to discuss the recent review of cultural heritage sector in relation to the Navy Museum, Glenbrook Vintage Railway and the Warbirds Museum at Ardmore. The review should consider the role major institutions play in supporting and connecting with the broader community of non-Council funded heritage museums and groups, and that they be included in the overall assessment and linkage of the Auckland city heritage sector. |

9 Consideration of Extraordinary Items

The Heritage Advisory Panel discussed the recent review of cultural heritage sector in relation to the Navy Museum, Glenbrook Vintage Railway and the Warbirds Museum at Ardmore. Bill Rayner requested that council should consider the role major institutions play in supporting and connecting with the broader community of non-Council funded heritage museums and groups, and that they be included in the overall assessment and linkage of the Auckland city heritage sector. |
