a)         confirm the ordinary minutes of its Community Forum meeting, held on Wednesday, 26 April 2017, as a true and correct record.

Ces Thomas

 

The Kaipātiki  Local Board wishes to acknowledge the passing of Mr Ces Thomas. Mr Thomas was a volunteer at Shepherds Park for 15 years and was particularly instrumental in the planting of trees in the park, including a large number of rimu trees and a small kauri forest.

a)         acknowledges the passing of Ces Thomas and expresses its condolences to his family.

Sylvia Heywood and Joan Morrison of Soroptimist International North Shore were in attendance to address the Kaipātiki Local Board regarding the work of Soroptimist International.

Nigel Green and Frankie Godfrey-Robson of the Glenfield Community Centre were in attendance to provide an update to the Kaipātiki Local Board on the work of the Glenfield Community Centre.

A document titled “Glenfield Community Centre General Update” was tabled. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment.
