MOVED by Chairperson Mayor J Tregidga, seconded by Mayor S Goudie:

That the Hauraki Gulf Forum:

a) accept the apologies from Cr R Hills for absence on council business, Member S Halley, Member T Hohneck, Member L Steel and Cr J Watson for absence, and Member N MacDonald for early departure.

6	Hauraki Gulf Forum: High level operating models in a changing context – including the introduction of the Sea Change Tai Timu Tai Pari Marine Spatial Plan
	A presentation was provided in support of this item. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment. The meeting adjourned at 3.42pm. The meeting reconvened at 4.02pm. Member N MacDonald was not present. Note:   Changes were made to clauses a) and b) with the agreement of the meeting.
	Resolution number HGF/2017/21 MOVED by Chairperson Mayor J Tregidga, seconded by Deputy Chairperson L Ngamane: That the Hauraki Gulf Forum: a)      note the options to reorganise and resource its work, taking into account the purpose of the Act and the purposes of the Forum, and utilising the powers and functions of the Forum under the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park Act. b)      instruct its executive officer to further refine the scope of the options and their resourcing implications to build on the Forum’s work, to enable enhanced impact and accountabilities of the Forum, for subsequent approval by the Forum within 12 months.   c)      approve the inclusion of $40,000 in the 2017/18 work plan to support this work. CARRIED
