Resolution number MR/2017/107 MOVED by Chairperson A Dalton, seconded by Member A Cunningham-Marino: That the Manurewa Local Board: a) approve the 2017/2018 Local Economic Development work programme (Attachment A to the report entitled “Manurewa Local Economic Development 2017/2018 work programme”) as follows: i) Young Enterprise Scheme ($2,000) ii) Manurewa town centre revitalisation implementation ($200,000). |

Parks, sport and recreation draft annual work programme financial year 2017/2018 |

Resolution number MR/2017/111 MOVED by Chairperson A Dalton, seconded by Member S Cattle: That the Manurewa Local Board: a) approve the Manurewa Parks, Sport and Recreation draft Annual work programme 2017/2018 financial year as detailed in Attachment A to the report entitled “Parks, sport and recreation draft annual work programme financial year 2017/2018”, with the provision that the following amendments are made:
i) include a line item in the Manurewa Parks, Sport and Recreation work programme called War Memorial Park with the activity description: War Memorial Park: concept planning and design, noting there is no budget currently allocated.
ii) include Manurewa Leisure facilities operation programme with the activity description: Operate Manurewa Pool and Leisure Centre; Totara Park Pool; Manurewa Leisure Centre; Nathan Homestead Early Childhood Education; Te Matariki Clendon Community Centre. Deliver a variety of accessible programmes and services that get the local community active including fitness, group fitness, learn to swim, early childhood education, aquatic services, recreation services.
b) delegate the approval for any minor changes to the Parks, Sport and Recreation Annual work programme 2017/2018 to the Manurewa Local Board’s Parks, Sport and Recreation work stream members with the Parks, Sports and Recreation Portfolio Manager.

Further reprioritisation of Manurewa Local Board 2016/2017 budget |

Resolution number MR/2017/112 MOVED by Chairperson A Dalton, seconded by Member A Cunningham-Marino: That the Manurewa Local Board: a) note that $27,000 of the Locally Driven Initiatives (LDI) funding is available for reallocation. b) allocate from the Locally Driven initiatives (LDI) budget: i) $10,000 from the local community grants budget line to OKE Charity for the development of further community garden activity in Manurewa. ii) $6,000 from the local community grants budget line to Nathan Homestead to further progress the business plan. iii) $2,000 from the local community grants budget line to the Manurewa Youth Council to support attendance at the Aspiring Leaders Forum to be held 27-30 July 2017 in Wellington. iv) $9,000 from the local community grants budget line to the Totara Park Mountain Bike Club towards the repair and maintenance of the mountain bike track network. |

Manurewa Local Board Adoption of Local Board Agreement 2017/2018 |

Resolution number MR/2017/113 MOVED by Chairperson A Dalton, seconded by Deputy Chairperson R McLean: That the Manurewa Local Board: a) adopt the local content for the Annual Budget 2017/2018 (Attachment A to the report entitled “Manurewa Local Board Adoption of Local Board Agreement 2017/2018”), including: i) a Local Board Agreement 2017/2018 ii) a message from the Chair iii) local board advocacy iv) local activity budgets v) local performance targets. b) adopt the local fees and charges schedules for 2017/2018 (Attachment B to the report entitled “Manurewa Local Board Adoption of Local Board Agreement 2017/2018”). c) notes: i) that the local activity budgets have been updated to reflect final budget decisions made by the governing body on 1 June 2017. ii) that if there are outstanding (not yet agreed) matters in the local board agreement, the local board should include an explanation of these matters in the chairperson’s message at the front of the local board agreement. iii) that the resolutions of this meeting will be reported back to the governing body when it meets to adopt the Annual Budget 2017/2018 on 29 June 2017. d) agree that the Manurewa Local Board chairperson be delegated authority to make any final minor changes to the local content for the Local Board Agreement 2017/2018. |
