That the Seniors Advisory Panel:

a)         accept apologies from Sonny Niha for absence.

Note:   An apology had been previously received from Roger Fowler for absence.

 

 

2          Declaration of Interest

Members are reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

There were no declarations of interest.

Election of Chair and Deputy Chair for the Seniors Advisory Panel for the 2016-2019 term

 

Resolution number SEN/2017/3

MOVED by Cr L Cooper:  

That the Seniors Advisory Panel:

a)      decide the chairperson and deputy chairperson will be elected by open ballot.

b)      decide to elect the chairperson using voting system A (as described in Schedule 7, Clause 25 of the Local Government Act 2002).

That the Seniors Advisory Panel:

c)      elect Janet Clews as the chairperson of the Seniors Advisory Panel for the 2016-2019 term.
