Deputation - Bayswater Avenue School
|
|
|
Stephen McLuckie – Auckland North Community and
Development (ANCAD), Linda McPhail, Bayswater Primary teacher and pupils of
Bayswater Primary, Ruby, Jemah, Iona, George, Luka and
Paegan were in attendance to address the board regarding their ideas on
the Lake Road improvements.
A copy of the presentation has been attached to the
official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a
minutes attachment.

Deputation - Little Free Library in Milford
|
|
|
Jade-Ceres Dolor was in
attendance to address to the board on creating a ‘little free Library’
in the Milford Beach area. Jade-Ceres Dolor explained the concept of the
Library and gave examples of its success overseas and in some tourist areas
of New Zealand. A location suggested for the ‘little free
Library’ to be investigated was on the Milford Reserve between the
public conveniences and the playground.

present to the board regarding the work Health Link North undertakes within
the Devonport –Takapuna local board area.

|
|
Brigid Curran, Devonport Community House Coordinator was
in attendance to introduce herself to the board and give an update on
existing and new programmes/initiatives for the 2017/2018 year ahead.

Council website as a minutes attachment.

on Art in the Devonport Skate park.

Sarah Bloomfield, Vivan Ward and John Walsby were in
attendance to address the board on the understanding of the biological
systems of our coastal ecology and were opposed to the beach grooming
process.
