1 Welcome

The Chair opened the meeting and welcomed everyone present.

That the Franklin Local Board:

a) accepts the apology from Members S Druyven and B Crompton for absence.

b) accepts the apology from Members M Bell, A Hopkins for lateness

3          Declaration of Interest

Member A Cole declared an interest in submission 5467 – Federated Farmers of New Zealand Incorporated.

Member A Baker declared an interest in submission 03158 – Karaka Sports Park Society (as a member of Karaka Rugby Football Club Incorporated).

4	Draft Franklin Local Board Plan 2017 Hearings
	Presentations were provided and information tabled. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as minute attachments. The information tabled by Huriwai Paki on behalf of Waikato-Tainui is available for viewing at the Franklin Local Board office upon request.
	Resolution number FR/2017/120 MOVED by Member A Hopkins, seconded by Member N Kloeten: That the Franklin Local Board: a)      receives submissions and feedback on the draft Franklin Local Board Plan 2017 (Attachments A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and I of the report entitled ‘Draft Franklin Local Board Plan 2017 Hearings’). b)      hears submitters wanting to speak in support of their submission to the draft Franklin Local Board Plan 2017. CARRIED
