1          Apologies

The Youth Advisory Panel:

a) accepted the apologies from Member Tremayne Reid and Chief Liaison Councillor Cathy Casey for absence.

2          Declaration of Interest

Members were reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.

There were no declarations of interest.

3          Confirmation of Minutes

The were no previous minutes to confirm.

4	Public Input: Generation Zero
	The Youth Advisory Panel: a)      thanked Generation Zero for their presentation, and b)      provided advice to Generation Zero on the discussion questions.

5	Public Input: Scouts NZ
	The Youth Advisory Panel: a)      thanked ScoutsNZ for their presentation, and b)      provided advice to Scouts NZ on the discussion questions

The Chairperson accorded precedence to Item 8 - Youth Advisory Panel - members' update, at this time.

8	Youth Advisory Panel - members' update
	The Youth Advisory Panel: a)      received the update about upcoming events and issues impacting youth communities.

The Chairperson accorded precedence to item 7 - Proposed Youth Advisory Panel Work Programme, at this time.

7	Proposed Youth Advisory Panel Work Programme
	The Youth Advisory Panel: a)      approved the Youth Advisory Panel Work Programme, and b)      delegated to the Chair and Deputy Chair, approval to make any minor editorial changes to the programme.

6	Youth Advisory Panel - Liaison Councillor's Update
	The Youth Advisory Panel: a)      received the update on regional issues of significance affecting youth communities from Liaison Councillor Fa’anana Efeso Collins.

Note:   Item 7 - Proposed Youth Advisory Panel Work Programme and Item 8 - Youth Advisory Panel - members' update  and Item 7 - Proposed Youth Advisory Panel Work Programme  were considered prior to Item 6 – Youth Advisory Panel - Liaison Councillor's Update.

9.00 pm                                              The Chairperson thanked Members for their attendance and attention to business and declared the meeting closed.
