Resolution number CIV/2017/25 MOVED by Chairperson S Stewart, seconded by Deputy Chairperson J Watson: That the Civil Defence and Emergency Management Group Committee: a) receive the report on Auckland Emergency Management’s empowered communities approach to building community resilience. b) agree to receive a report at the meeting in May 2018 outlining Auckland Emergency Management’s various successes for the year 2017 and the ongoing work programme for building community resilience throughout 2018 and 2019. |

Resolution number CIV/2017/26 MOVED by Chairperson S Stewart, seconded by Cr E Collins: That the Civil Defence and Emergency Management Group Committee: a) note the requirements stipulated in the draft Strategic Recovery Planning Director’s Guideline; b) note Auckland Emergency Management’s response to these requirements, in particular the work programme for the development of Auckland’s Resilient Recovery Strategy. c) agree to receive minor amendments to the CDEM Group Plan by 1 June 2018 to comply with the new requirements for strategic planning for recovery noting that these amendments will not trigger thresholds for full statutory consultation. |
