Deputation - Ryman Retirement Village construction at Ngataringa

MOVED
by Member M Cohen, seconded by Member J McKenzie:
That the Devonport-Takapuna
Local Board:
a)
requests Local Board Services staff to:
i) organise
a meeting between the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board and Ryman Healthcare to create
and establish a working relationship and ensure the community’s views
are considered throughout the development of the retirement village.
ii) have
ongoing discussions with the Devonport Peninsula Precincts Society to provide
assistance such as communications and engaging with Ryman Healthcare.
b) receive
the presentation from Iain Rea, Janet Digby, Marinka
Teague, Diane Humphreys, and Trish Deans of the Devonport Peninsula Precincts
Society and thank them for their attendance.

receive the presentation from Leon Ogilvy, student and Bex
Williamson, teacher of PHAB.
c)
thank Sarah Thorne for bringing the students, parents, and
teachers of Wairau Valley Special School and from PHAB for their presentations
to the local board members for their consideration.
