John Hunt, Chief Executive of Harbour Basketball, and Cameron Rennie of Parklife were in attendance to address the Kaipātiki Local Board regarding the provision of outdoor basketball courts in the Kaipātiki Local Board area. A presentation was provided. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment. |

Peter Jonkers and Greg Arnold of the Calliope Athletic Club were in attendance to address the Kaipātiki Local Board regarding the role of the club in the community, the opportunities they provide for the community to get involved in athletics and facilitating healthy lifestyle options. A presentation was provided. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment. |

Geoff Taylor and Paul Norris were in attendance to address the Kaipātiki Local Board regarding recent changes to parking in Rodney Road, Northcote Point. A petition titled ‘Angled Parking in Rodney Road, Northcote Point’ and a document titled Kaipātiki Local Board Presentation, 28th February 2018 Rodney Road Safety Concern – Angled Parking Bays’ were tabled. Copies have been placed on the official minutes and are available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment. |

Resolution number KAI/2018/7 MOVED by Deputy Chairperson J Gillon, seconded by Chairperson D Grant: That the Kaipātiki Local Board: a) receive the deputation from Geoff Taylor and Paul Norris. b) thank Geoff Taylor and Paul Norris for their attendance and presentation. c) receive the petition and associated papers from residents of Northcote Point regarding angled parking on Rodney Road and forward to Auckland Transport. d) receive the signed letter from Northcote Point businesses in support of the petition from local residents and forward to Auckland Transport e) request Auckland Transport investigate reverting the new angle parking on Rodney Road, Northcote Point, back to the former parallel parking, and report back to the Kaipātiki Local Board.
