a) noted the apologies from Cr Daniel Newman and Roger Fowler for lateness and Sonny Niha for absence.

Councillor D Newman entered the meeting at 10.37 am.

Orquidea Mortera, Group Diversional Therapist for the Selwyn Foundation presented a powerpoint presentation outlining its health care practice and services they provide. A copy of the presentation has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as minutes attachments. |

Note: At this point of the meeting, the Chair spoke in regards to the Community Forum held on Friday, 16 March 2018 and thanked staff involved with the preparation of the successful Community Forum.

Public consultation process for the council's 10-year budget and Auckland Plan 2050 |

a) noted the consultation process for the council’s 10-year budget and Auckland Plan 2050. |

a) recommended to the Governing Body that Auckland becomes an Age Friendly City as soon as possible. b) recommended to Auckland Council that it explores the opportunity to apply for Community Connects grants funding towards Age Friendly Cities offered by Ministry of Social Development. |
