Resolution number TE /2018/1 MOVED by Chairperson C Makoare, seconded by Member G Thompson: That the Te Oro Committee of the Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board:
a) accept the apology from Deputy Chair K Kerehoma for absence.

There were declarations of interest as noted in the report by Chair C Makoare, Member T Moala and Member G Thompson.
Resolution number TE /2018/2 MOVED by Chairperson C Makoare, seconded by Deputy Chairperson D Burrows: That the Te Oro Committee of the Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board: a) confirm the ordinary minutes of its meeting, held on Friday, 8 December 2017, including the confidential section, as a true and correct record.

The Te Oro Committee acknowledges the passing of Mr Thomas Nepia and his great contribution to the community.
There were no petitions.
There were no deputations.
There was no public forum.
There was no extraordinary business.
There were no notices of motion.

Resolution number TE /2018/3 MOVED by Chairperson C Makoare, seconded by Deputy Chairperson D Burrows: That the Te Oro Committee of the Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board: a) thank Sarah Edwards, Arts and Culture Advisor, Stephen Johnson, Manager Arts and Culture Facilities and Assets, Jenni Heka, Facility Manager, Hanna Scott, Arts and Culture Senior Programming Leader, and Debs McSmith, Arts and Culture Project Lead, for their attendance; b)receives the quarter two Te Oro activity report; c) notes the concerns of the Committee about the dates of the Auckland Council sponsored Matariki festivals as these do not align with the Māori Maramataka.
