Chairperson D Burrows:
That the Te Oro Committee of
the Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board:
a) thank Sarah
Edwards, Arts and Culture Advisor, Stephen Johnson, Manager
Arts and Culture Facilities and Assets,
Jenni Heka, Facility Manager, Hanna
Scott, Arts and Culture Senior Programming Leader, and Debs McSmith,
Arts and Culture Project Lead, for their attendance;
b)receives
the quarter two Te Oro activity report;
c) notes the
concerns of the Committee about the dates of the Auckland Council sponsored
Matariki festivals as these do not align with the Māori
Maramataka.
