Resolution number HM/2018/36 MOVED by Member W Flavell, seconded by Member B Brady: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board: a) accept the apology from Deputy Chair Peter Chan and Member Matt Grey for absence.

7 Ward Councillors’ Update
Councillor Linda Cooper spoke to the board on the postponed corporate property rationalisation report for the Finance & Performance Committee. The report has been deferred to the May meeting. She also spoke on the ongoing work on the Long Term Plan and the Fuel Tax.

Mr. McDonald spoke to the board on not selling the Auckland Council’s 6 Henderson Valley Road property. He was concerned that the Council Chambers, that was built for the people and where citizenship ceremonies are held, will be sold.

Local Transport Capital Fund: options for distribution and size of the fund |

Resolution number HM/2018/42 MOVED by Member W Flaunty, seconded by Member V Neeson: That the Henderson-Massey Local Board: a) endorse an increase to the local transport capital fund of $10 million per annum (inflation adjusted) from 1 July 2018 (as per attachment B). b) endorse the distribution of the entire local transport capital fund to be made according to Auckland Council’s Local Boards Funding Policy from 1 July 2018 (as per attachment B). c) endorse Auckland Transport receiving additional funding to provide an increased level of support to local boards in developing and assessing projects for the local transport capital fund. d) expresses disappointment in the structure and content of the Local Transport Capital Fund report making it difficult for elected members and the public to understand. |
