Chairperson Greg Presland opened the meeting and welcomed those present.
Resolution number WTK/2018/38 MOVED by Member N Henderson, seconded by Member S Tollestrup: That the Waitākere Ranges Local Board: a) accept the apology from Deputy Chairperson S Toms for absence. |
Members were reminded of the need to be vigilant to stand aside from decision making when a conflict arises between their role as a member and any private or other external interest they might have.
Specifically members are asked to identify any new interests they have not previously disclosed, an interest that might be considered as a conflict of interest with a matter on the agenda.

A copy of the Advocacy and Feedback on 10-year Budget and Regional Plans and Deferrals updated were tabled and a copy has been placed on the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes attachment. |

Resolution number WTK/2018/41 MOVED by Chairperson G Presland, seconded by Member S Tollestrup: That the Waitākere Ranges Local Board: a) receive the 10-year Budget 2018-2028 and draft Auckland Plan 2050 consultation feedback report b) receive the submissions as tabled at the meeting c) approve its advocacy initiatives, tabled as Attachment A including its key advocacy project, for inclusion (as an appendix) to its 2018/2019 Local Board Agreement d) recommend $58,500 of 2017/2018 Locally Driven Initiative (LDI) operating expenditure to be deferred to 2018/2019 to the Governing Body tabled as Attachment B e) provide feedback on the 10-year Budget 2018-2028 as outlined in Attachment A f) provide feedback on the draft Auckland Plan 2050 as outlined in Attachment A g) provide feedback on the draft Waste Management and Minimisation Plan 2018 a outlined in Attachment A h) note that the redacted submissions will be made available through the Auckland Council website in May 2018 however, until then, the submissions are available on request by emailing akhaveyoursay@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz i) submissions on the Waitakere Ranges local board priorities ii) that submission on regional proposals in the 10-year Budget 2018-2028 and draft Auckland Plan 2050 from people or organisations based in the Waitakere Ranges local board area. |
