confirmed the ordinary minutes of its meeting,
held on Thursday, 1 March 2018, including the

activities was tabled in support of the item. A copy has been placed on the
minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minutes
attachment.

the panel members’ updates.

Note:

Panel members provided updates of their work since the last
workshop, including being involved with forums, housing issues including
KiwiBuild, advocating for transport issues, as well as problems with booking
spaces for people with disabilities at concert venues run by Auckland Live;
and the shortage of carers for those with disabilities.
·
The options for ways the panel can raise housing issues at
council will be discussed at a future workshop.

Feedback on 10-year Budget and Auckland Plan

the contents of the memo and update report to advisory panel members.

There has been no feedback to date from council to the
demographic advisory panels on how their feedback has been included in the
10-year Budget or Auckland Plan.
·
The panel agreed to discuss thoughts and questions for council
staff, and invite staff to attend a future panel workshop.

Arts Access Aotearoa presentation

Richard Benge,
Executive Director, Arts Access Aotearoa, addressed the panel and gave a
PowerPoint presentation. A copy has been placed on the official minutes and

Kimberley Howell, Policy Analyst, Affordable Housing,
addressed the panel and gave a PowerPoint presentation. A
