3          Confirmation of Minutes

That the Heritage Advisory Panel:

a)         confirm the ordinary minutes of its meeting, held on Tuesday, 28 August 2018, as a true and correct record.

4          Extraordinary Business 

 

There was no extraordinary business.

Resource Consents in Special Character Area

 

Trish Deans and Alistair Helms, Devonport Heritage addressed the panel regarding the public availability of property addresses that have non notified resource consents approved in special character area in particular, Devonport.

MOVED by Member C Page, seconded by Member  Geary:  

That the Heritage Advisory Panel:

a)         thank Trish Deans and Alistair Helms, Devonport Heritage for their presentation and attendance.

b)        receive the Resource Consents in Special Character report

c)         request the council to make public the addresses of the 423 consents in special character overlay areas which the Environment Court on 20 December 2017 declared were consented by an invalid process, to enable more transparency for affected parties particularly adjoining neighbours.

Heritage Evaluations - Prioritisation process

 

Members Graeme Burgess and Allan Matson declared an interest, but had no conflict with Item 7: Heritage Evaluations - Prioritisation process. 

 

A PowerPoint presentation was provided, a copy of which has been attached to the official minutes and is available on the Auckland Council website as a minute attachments.

 

Chairperson M Lee left the meeting at 7.35pm.

Deputy Chairperson S Hughes assumed the chair.

Member R Hoskins left the meeting at 7.38pm.

Member G Burgess left the meeting at 7.52pm.
