	Ms Ritchie, Ms Ward (Omaha Shorebirds Trust), Mr Zubielevitch (Omaha Association, were in attendance to present the Omaha Pest Free Plan to the Rodney Local Board. Documents were tabled in spport of the item. Copies have been placed on the official minutes and are available on the Auckland Council website as minutes attachments.

Auckland Transport Update to the Rodney Local Board Transport, Infrastructure and Environment Committee October 2018

Ellen Barrett, Elected Member Relationshiop Manager, Auckland Transport, was in attendance for this item.

Resolution number RODTP/2018/40

MOVED by Member B Houlbrooke, seconded by Member P Pirrie:

That the Rodney Local Board Transport, Infrastructure and Environment Committee:

a) receive the Auckland Transport October 2018 update report

b) note that designs for the following four footpaths are expected shortly (pursuant to resolution RD/2018/87) and request that staff provide an update on these designs as soon as practicable so as not to delay any possible construction:

i) Blue Gum Drive, Warkworth

ii) Falls Road, Warkworth

iii) Springs Road, Parakai

iv) Arthur Street, Riverhead

c) note that the chairperson has an existing delegation to approve the construction of these footpaths as soon as designs are received and costs confirmed (RD/2018/87)

d) request that AT staff provide a new rough order of costs for a footpath along Hudson Road, Warkworth only between number 33 and SH1, which already has kerb and channelling in place

e) agree that, while the Matakana Link Road has the provision to become four lanes in the future, the local board supports the community and their grave concerns that the planned two lanes will become insufficient sooner than transport planners anticipate

That the Rodney Local Board Transport, Infrastructure and Environment Committee:

a) approve the new name of Birchdale Close for the Cabra Developments Limited subdivision at 55 Barrett Road, Riverhead, in accordance with section 319(1)(j) of the Local Government Act 1974 and as referenced in Attachment A to the agenda report.

a) approve the names, Pukemarino Road and Tokatai Road respectively, for a new public road and right of way at the Cherry Hill Holdings Limited subdivision at 85 Muriwai Road, Waimauku, in accordance with section 319(1)(j) of the Local Government Act 1974 and as referenced in Attachment A to the agenda report.
